BRACE - SWAY OR FACE (FACADE)
A vertical diagonal member int he run plane, which begins at a scaffold base and extends vertically upward at approximately at 45°degree angle along the entire length of the scaffold. If the scaffold is longer than it istall this brace is usually repeated several times. If the scaffold is taller than it is long, this brace is usually reversed at the far scaffold end and continued in the opposite direction to the top of the scaffold

BRACKET FORM SCAFFOLD
A brake used to stop a hoist and its load under normal operating conditions.
A brake designed to prevent the descent of the suspended or supported equipment in the event of an over speed condition.
The opening between the sheave and the inside of a block.
BUILDING FACE ROLLER
A suspended scaffold platform guide roller designed to contact the outer face or wall structure of the building.
A tube which braces up against a structure to prevent the scaffold from moving towards the structure.
A rigid diagonal member that increases the base dimension for a structure.
